Calumet's commitment to high quality control standards includes the utilization of professional third party food safety auditing firms to perform inspections for our production facility; ensuring that our products are being produced in the safest possible manner. Additionally, Calumet Diversified Meats Inc. has a Four Star Inspection Policy that ensures we provide products and services that exceed our customers' expectations — every time.

 

USDA Inspectors and Calumet Quality Assurance Staff perform inspections throughout operations and concentrate on four critical areas:

  • Receipt of raw material.

  • Center cut loin production.

  • Chop cutting production.

  • Random evaluation of finished products.
