Back in 1976, Calumet Diversified
Meats was started in a modest, conventional facility in Chicago. To
keep pace with the steady growth which has today positioned us a
leading processor of pork products, we relocated to a custom built,
ultramodern,
one-of-a-kind facility in 1990.
With over 30 years of experience
in the meat packing industry, the principals of Calumet have
nurtured their reputation for providing extremely high quality pork
products and reliable service to their customers. In order to
continue to provide the quality products and services which have
become the standard by which meat processors are judged, Calumet
maintains an ongoing research and development program, fueled by
customer input on subjects ranging from packaging standards to
processing and shipping.
Although there have been several
changes for us in recent years, what hasn't changed is our
unwavering commitment to the constant improvement of quality and
productivity. By staying in touch with customer needs and the
market, we continue to be an innovative leader in the industry.
